The Bays Holiday Park is centrally located within the Tomaree Peninsula which is the tourism hub of Port Stephens.

  • 3km to Anna Bay Shops that includes cafes, takeaways, gift shops plus much more. Also at Anna Bay you have access to Stockton Beach which features the famous sand dunes, tin city, 4W Driving, beach fishing, sand boarding, quad bike adventures, horse riding and winery tours.

  • 2km to Taylors Beach which is great for boating, swimming, fishing and water skiing. Also featured there is a water skiing school.
  • 7km to One Mile Beach which is well known for its excellent patrolled surf , and its fishing. Also next to One Mile you can 4WD up to the famous nudist beach at Samurai Beach (clothing optional).
  • 3km to Horizons world class golf course.
  • 9km to Nelson Bay where you can find the dolphin and whale watching cruises, information centre, restaurants, shopping, marinas, boat hire, clubs, cinema, scuba diving, and snorkelling.
  • 6km to the Salamander Shopping Centre which is the main shopping centre of the Tomaree Peninsula. There you can find cafes, McDonalds, speciality shops, Woolworths, Bilo, Liquor Land, Kmart and Target Country.
  • 6km to Salamander Shops where you can find some speciality shops, bottle shop, bakery, newsagent, IGA supermarket, butcher and a pharmacy.

  • 9km to Soldiers Point which hosts a world class marina, restaurant and a bowling club.
  • 14km to Fingal Bay where you can find a sheltered patrolled surf beach, and with a walk across the Fingal Spit you can discover the Fingal Bay Lighthouse (tours are available and recommended).
  • 12km to Shoal Bay and the Tomaree Headland. Shoal Bay is known for its large sheltered beach and its view of the Port Stephens Headlands, it also hosts specialty shops a popular club and parasailing.
    The Tomaree Headland is a must for any explorer, once you walk to the top you can gaze at the breathtaking 360 views as far as the eye can see.

  • Tamboi Queen Cruises offer a choice of two boats the MV Tamboi Queen and MV Surprise for dolphin watch cruises on beautiful Port Stephens. Both boats feature boom nets, licensed bars, spacious viewing decks, and friendly crew.
